No Chef has more experience than a wife or a mother that feeds her family every day.
“I Am Not a Chef” is the ultimate challenge for the culinary genius of the most celebrated cooks in the world - the homemaker.
Every aspect of their culinary expertise will be put to the test as these every-day cooks are put under extreme time and resource restraints, as well as the occasional sabotage.
Who will endure to the end? Who will survive all the cooking challenges and family betrayal to be crowned the next I Am Not a Chef Champion?

Diana is a successful credit underwriter in one of the biggest European Banks with a footprint in the US. She enjoys her job but she also knows what her other passion is: baking (you should see her cakes - they tell a story, a story that always gets her friends and family together around her table).
She has always been jealous of people that were able to turn their passion into a thriving enterprise or career. And finally the opportunity presented itself. She started a cooking group on Facebook, "Cooking Shmooking with DG", in September of 2019 and after meeting a fair amount of amateur chefs (a.k.a. moms) the idea of, culinary show was born. And here we are!
Joe Lazo was born in Northern California where as a child he was fortunate enough to visit local farms and understand the true concept of farm to table. Although his illustrious career in the food industry started in the later years of his life, he is quickly excelling in the industry as a chef, food stylist and culinary producer. In the last several years, Joe has worked with some of the countries’ top chefs.
Joe’s resume includes Chef Roble & Co (Bravo), Cupcake Wars, Next Iron Chef , Master Chef(Fox) , Secrets of a Restaurant Chef (Food Network) and Rachel v Guy: Kids Cook Off (Food Network)
Kenishia is talented actress and television host. Kenishia Green was born in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. She studied Theater at DeSales University, where she obtained her Bachelor’s of Art Degree in Theater and Performing Arts.
Kenishia has hosted Black and Latino Film Awards for the past last two and has been the host of the highly popular New York music television show, Video City TV for several years. She has had key acting roles in Shilo Media's South Brooklyn (Bounce TV), Brain Games (Discovery Channel), Deadly Devotion(Discovery Channel) , Blue Bloods(CBS), Power (STARZ) and The Mirror Game, (NETFLIX”).

Facing off against the best non chefs under the pressure and time constraint is no easy task but then it would not be a worthwhile experience.
